    There were actually two people involved in the making of the first Labradoodle. The other, John Gosling, who at the time was manager of the Guide Dog Services program.     The ‘Frankenstein’s Monsters’ Mr Conron refers to are not the Labradroodles, but the backyard breeders who greedily pair bitches and dogs with no regard for the puppies that result.
