I sent an email to Councillor Bec Bowles asking how the colour for the Town Hall was chosen. I received the following reply…

A scratching was taken of the original colour, the one under the horrible pink, sent to a chemical and colour analysis, which then determined the old colour, the colour will fade to more grey over time.  All the old photos of the original town hall are in black and white but talking to the old folks it was slate grey.
