Rainfall recorded for the month of April in Yea was 5.6mm. This was 43.3mm orĀ  89% below the historical average of 48.9mm.

Total rainfall for the first four months of the year was 37.2mm. This is 132mm or 78% below the long term average of 169.2mm.

This is the lowest rainfall for the first four months of the year since 1923, when Yea received only 18.9mm

    You poor things. We here in Marysville have fared much better, although still well below average. 21.5; 61.5; 58.5; and 37.6mm for the first four months, a total of 179.1mm, and now 75.8 in the first week of May. It’s looking lovely and green here, though no mowing yet.

      Hi Ian, you sure have done better than Yea. 75.8 in May…wow. As of 9th May we have received only 28mm.
