After a long break since early June the rainfall amounts at Yea are once again being recorded and logged. Local resident Ron Litjens has taken on the task of recording the daily amounts. Thanks Ron! Ron may bring us good luck as he has recorded rainfall 3 of the last 4 days since it was up and running. The recoding equipment is located at the Old Butter Factory in Rattray Street.

As always the BOM rainfall data is available on yea.com.au via the “Live Weather” page under “Rainfall Recent and Historic”.  The BOM rainfall page will need the station no. which is 088067.

As far as the UGFM live weather goes, the rainfall is still not recording, I have informed them about the issue.
